Pediatric Orthopaedic Essentials for the Primary Care Provider

Overview:

This educational event is designed for primary care providers who treat children and focuses on common pediatric orthopedic conditions. The program includes brief educational presentations and hands-on learning sessions where attendees will gain practical knowledge and foundational tools to help enhance the care of patients with pediatric orthopedic conditions.

Learning Objectives 
After participation, the learner should be better able to:

• Increase primary care providers (PCP) ability to recognize hip dysplasia
• Increase PCP's ability to screen for scoliosis
• Provide PCPs with basic splinting techniques
• Provide PCPs with the fundamentals of orthopaedic sports examination

Target Audience
Pediatricians, Family Medicine, NPs, PAs who treat children within 50 miles of Morristown
